In the morning of December 16, the grand commencement ceremony of 100000t/a cathode copper project for Qinghai Copper Co., Ltd. was held in Xining City, Qinghai province. ENFI President , Mr. Wu Shaohui, together with Deputy Governor of Qinghai Province, Mr. Wang Liming, and Chairman of board of Western Mining Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Yongli, attended the ceremony.
In his greeting speech, Wu said that the oxygen bottom-blowing smelting & converting process is adopted for the 100000t/a cathode copper project of Qinghai Copper, featuring wide adaptability to different feed compositions, lower CAPEX and OPEX, high recovery, safety and reliability and energy-conservation, a process which is considered the most advanced and competitive copper smelting process in the world. Mr. Wu also said that in undertaking the overall project design and EPC of critical works in the smelting area, ENFI will bring its strengths of technology, talent and management into full play with support of the provincial government and the client and by closely collaborating with participating companies; ENFI will strictly implement quality and safety control, ensure the project progress, build an excellent project and set a benchmark for the metallurgical industry.
